Best Birds Card 2

June 5, 2017

I had such good fun making this series of cards!

Seeing the new wood texture designer series paper has made me want to create my own coloured wood texture using the hardwood stamp, you can do it in any colour to suit your card.

I only stamped the sentiment from Best Birds (but you could use any sentiment) in Rich Razzleberry and put a little colour on the edge of the whisper white with Smoky Slate. I've cut the birds out using Birds and Blossom Thinlets diesI have used Smoky Slate and Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. So only two colours for the entire card.

Birds and Blossom Thinlets dies £24

Best Birds stamp set £19

Rich Razzleberry Cardstock £7.25

Smoky Slate Cardstock £7.25

Rich Razzleberry Ink £6

Smoky Slate Ink £6

Gems £4.50

Watching my video to find out how I made it 😊

In your craft kit you should always have...

A good pair of Detail Scissors.

A good Adhesive or 2, I prefer the Tape Pens and Pinflair Glue-it.

Every stamper deserves bright white stamping Cardstock that is perfect for stamping on or drawing on.  I love Stampin’ Up! whisper white and the Rare Earth stamping card.
