Today I will be sharing project 3 with you, witch is "Clean and Simple".
I really enjoyed designing this card, as its a card i would call a one layer wonder. I feel the Altenew stamps work so well for this project and the stamps allows for a gorgeous 3D effect. Clean and Simple embody the phrase “less is more!” and the classes walks you through the process, offering tips on layout and design.
For my class submission I have chosen this card featuring the Dream Big and Mini Hello stamp sets, following the guide from Lesson 1.
Drawing from the classes as a whole, I wanted to create a simple card but with a bold sentiment as the focus but I wanted small pops of colour in the design. The white space I have left gives the stamped images space to pop, I positioned a detailed die cut on one edge, witch adds the only layer I needed for the design.
I have used a sentiment stamp from the Ranger embossing kit as i don't have any other large sentiment stamps form Altenew yet! I feel any large sentiment stamp would work for this card. I decided to heat emboss the "thanks" in black as I felt the embossing made it stand out more.
I am pleased with how this card turned out and I am looking forward to learning more!
