Altenew Academy - AECP, Easy Ink Blending Class 4.

Hi everyone, welcome back! I’ve got another class to check off my list of Altenew Academy courses for the Altenew Educator Certification Program. It has been an incredible learning journey and I love sharing my projects with you all. The title of this class is Easy Ink Blending Techniques and it is a progressive class on ink blending. Just when I thought I have seen it all, I still learn new things through Altenew Academy.

If you follow me on Instagram (@craftykellyannejordan), I have also shared a video on Youtube. I would greatly appreciate if you checked it out and I appreciate the feedback I’ve gotten from many of you on these videos.

I really enjoyed designing this card and I Love the Emboss Resist technique. I feel the Altenew stamps work so well for this project and the image allows for a gorgeous Blend. I love a clean and simple card and I feel this card embody’s the phrase “less is more!”. I love how the Altenew Academy classes walk you through the process, offering tips on layout and design.

For my class submission I have chosen this card featuring the Darling Lilly and Label Love Stamp sets, following the guide from Lesson 4.

Drawing from the classes as a whole, I wanted to create a simple card but with bold colour and focus on the pop of White embossing. I wanted the sentiment to be a contrast to the bright colours of the card and I feel the flicks of green Ink finish it off.

I am pleased with how this card turned out and I am looking forward to learning more!

Check out my video making this lovely card...
