Cards using Pretty Penny stamp and die - Chamomile Bouquet

This is a fun and easy card using Pretty Penny stamp and die - Chamomile Bouquet. This is a fun lay out that can be use with any of you’ve card making stash.


You will need:


  • Pretty Penny stamp and die - Chamomile Bouquet

  • Stamps By Me, Self Adhesive Washi Tape and Coordinating Dies -

  • Typewriter - 893946 Altenew - Watercolor Stripes Stencil

  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Tumbled Glass

  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Tattered Rose

  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Victorian Velvet

  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Pine Needles

  • VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad

  • Eureka 101 - Stamping tool

  • Die cutting machine

  • Paintbrush

  • Water


  • 5”x7” cards blank

  • Lynda Chapman's Black Card

  • Neenah Classic Crest Card Pack A4 Solar White -x3

  • Adhesive


  • Foam pads

Step 1
 Cut a mat layer in black card to 4 7/8” x 6 7/8”, Cut Stamping card to 4 3/4” x 6 3/4” You will also need some stamping cardstock big enough to stamp 2 flower images.

Step 2
 Place the stencil over the stamping card and secure in place with some low tac tape. With a blending tool work the Tumbled Glass Ink over the stamping card, if the stencil is to short move it down and continue the process.


Step 3 Place some cardstock into the stamping tool, position the stamp so that you can fit 2 of the stamped images on it. Ink up the stamp with black ink Close the stamping tool and apply even pressure to transfer the ink to the cardstock. Reposition the cardstock for the second image.

Step 4 Press some Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet and Pine Needles ink onto a wipeable surface, add a little water to you're paintbrush. Work the colour into the bottom and top of the petal, Use the lightest colour first (Tattered Rose), leave the centres of the petals White. Next add some of the Victorian Velvet to give the petals some shadow and colour variation.


For the leaves use the same process of adding Pine needle ink to the top and bottom of each leaf. Leave to dry and then cut out using the die.

Step 5 Start to assemble the card by adhering the stencil cardstock to the black matte layer and then to the card base.


Now with some foam pads to add dimension, place one set of the flowers to the top of the card and one at the bottom. Now position the sentiments from the Washie tape die sentiments, add here with glue or foam pads and the card is finished.


All finished and ready to send.
