Some how I missed posting this the other day lol. Today I will be sharing project 5 with you, witch is "For the Guys".
I really enjoyed designing these cards, I feel the Altenew images are so easy to work with. We all know how hard it is to make cards for guys but Altenew have this sorted. the Altenew classes really helped inspire me with tips on layout, design and more.
For my class submission I have chosen to use the Geometric Menagerie Stamp Set, following some guidance from Lesson 2.
In the proses of making this card it came to my attention that I have never thought about making “get well” cards for men but we all talk about how hard it can be making birthday cards for men. With this in mind I wanted to create a card that could be used in several ways.
I used a resist and ink technique, then I blended layers of ink. I have heat embossed a lot of the elements to this card such as the stars, bear and sentiment, I love the finished look.
I am pleased with how this card turned out and I am looking forward to learning more!

Cardstock: Rare Earth stamping card, Rare Earth Black card and Stampin' Up Whisper White Thick Cardstock
Embossing Ink: Rare Earth Clear Glass
Embossing powder: Black, White and Clear.
