How to make a Pocket album and use up your old DSP!!!

Happy Friday my crafty friends, I hope your week has been good. I’m hoping that we will have the lovely sunshine over the weekend like we did last week. It was the perfect weather for going to the park with Theo.

Have you got a massive stash of pretty papers and DSP that you do not want to cut (I DO!!!) its time to use them up and make something with them. I have just make 2 lovely pocket albums with some DSP I have had sitting around for about 2 years. I love using my papers this way as I still get to see the lovely patterns and I have made something beautiful I can use.

For the 8" x8" Cardstock.

You will need 4 8" x 8" pages to make a 8 pages pocket book. I scored my cardstock at 4" them rotated 90 degrees and scored at 1 1/2" them folded.

I made 8 inserts cut to 5 3/4" x 3 3/4".

I have used

The Paper Boutique, Vintage Rose Garden from Create and Craft,

Papillon Potpourri stamp set and matching punch, both from Stampin' Up and are retired.

The sentiment stamp is from Dreamees it is called Family Recipe Stamp and its lovely I think.

For the 12" x12" Cardstock.

You will need 4 12" x 12" pages to make a 8 pages pocket book. I scored my cardstock at 6" them rotated 90 degrees and scored at 3" them folded.

I made 8 inserts cut to 6 3/4" x 4 3/4". I layered DSP and cut to 6 1/2" x 4 1/2"

I have used

Stampin' Up Retired DSP double sided paper,

Papillon Potpourri stamp set and matching punch, both retired.

The sentiment stamp is from Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set.

I love how these have turned out. I had fun making this project and can't wait to make some more.
