Card Inspiration Journalling Book #2

Updated: Aug 31, 2023

Hello and welcome back to my creative crafty space, I am so happy that you are loving this idea. Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.

What is card journaling? This is my concept of journalling It is a mash up of card making and mixed media journaling but the important part is that you log everything you use in your log it book. My log it books are available the links are below in the post.

I'm back with page #2

If you don't know what I'm up to, I had this idea that I wanted to create a reference guide for my card making, so this could be in combination of stamps, layouts, Ink and paint colours so on. So I decided to create my own style of journalling where I can create a journal that inspires me for my card making, then I would always have a reference of stamps, inks, stencils and other items I have used for a project. I am calling this Card Inspiration Journalling.

If this is something that interest you why don't you give it a go too.

For this project I have used only a few supplies, and I know this would look beautiful as a card. I love the vintage look of this project and the masking technique has worked really well.

When I saw this stamps it I knew I had to have it. One of the reasons is I was lucky enough to receive an Underwood travel typewriter which is about 100 years old now for Christmas from my partner (I found it he paid for it Lol) and it wasn't that expensive but it does need a full restoration which is expensive, so I'm now saving up my pennies so I can have it in full working order again.

The other reason is I love working with the vintage style. There is something about all things vintage that just capture me from the clothing to decor.
